Official Event Rules

NEA , is knee to uphold its commitment to spotlighting the regions often overlooked by adventure riders. This year’s theme,“India's First. Northeast's Fiercest” celebrates the resilience, skill, and relentless pursuit of adventure that define the spirit of true adventurers. The journey will kick off at Kohima , Nagaland and traverse through districts of Nagaland, showcasing their breathtaking landscapes, rich heritage, and warm, hospitable people. This epic adventure highlights the essence of a long rider—fearless in the face of challenges, driven by skill, and fuelled by a never-ending quest for discovery.

This page outlines the official regulations of the North East Advenduro (NEA), covering eligibility, motorcycle requirements, checkpoints, safety, and disqualifications.

  1. NEA is strictly a team event, requiring three (3) to five (5) members per team only.
  2. No track reading will be provided.
  3. Participants will navigate the route using coordinates provided at each checkpoint.
  4. Riders will have 3-5 days and 2-4 nights to complete the adventure.
  5. The event commences at 6 AM on the 1st day and concludes at 9 pm on the 3-5 rd-th day.
  6. Riders will be assessed on their perseverance, problem-solving, navigational, and riding skills.
  7. The route consists of 20% road and 80% off-road sections.
  8. Riders must bring their own camping gear, ration( for the route), first aid kit, and any necessary survival gear.
  9. The maximum speed limit when entering town ,village and densely populated areas is 35 kph. "Specific towns" will be announced when coordinates are provided to each team. Teams that violate the speed limit will not receive the next set of coordinates. Additionally, any team involved in a vehicular accident with other motorists , animals /cattle's or humans, regardless of its scale, will not be allowed to continue the adventure and will not be given the next coordinates.
  10. The organizers do not endorse drinking alcohol during the Adventure.
  11. Cloakroom Facility for Excess Luggage
      To support this guideline and ensure rider comfort, the organisers will provide a secure cloakroom facility at the event venue. Participants may deposit:
    1. Hard cases
    2. Top boxes
    3. Excess luggage or non-essential items
    4. These can be safely stored before the flag-off and retrieved after the event concludes. The facility will be managed by authorised personnel, with proper tagging and verification protocols in place
